About kiwli
The first flat I rented didn't feel like mine.
White walls I wasn't allowed to paint, a light fitting I quietly hated, and a sofa that came with the place. I'd get home from work and feel a bit like a guest in my own living room. For months I kept saying I'd fix it once there was money spare. The trouble was, everything I actually wanted cost more than a month's rent.
So I started small. A print I loved went up on the bare wall. A soft lamp turned the cold overhead light warm. A floating shelf gave my favourite things a home, and the place started to feel like mine. None of it cost much, and all of it changed how the place felt, and how I felt inside it. Nobody had told me the secret. You don't need a renovation or a big budget to make somewhere feel like home. You need a few right things, in the right places.

That is where kiwli started.
My name is Ayo, and I built kiwli for the version of me standing in that empty flat.
We put together collections for every part of a home that needs a little love. Lighting that softens a harsh overhead glare into something you can actually relax under. Wall art and prints for the spaces that stare back at you blankly. Floating shelves and hooks so your bits and pieces finally get a home of their own. And the quiet upgrades most people walk straight past, like the cabinet handles and door hardware that make a tired kitchen feel new again.

Most people who shop with us are renting, or settling into a first place, or simply done with paying designer prices for a nice cushion. We get it, because we have been there. You shouldn't have to own the walls to love living inside them.
Everything we list has to pass one simple test. Would we put it in our own homes? If the answer is no, it doesn't make the cut.
We are a small team and we read every message that comes in. If something isn't right, tell us, and a real person will make it right. Thank you for being here. I hope kiwli helps your place feel a little more like yours.

With love, Ayo, founder of kiwli, and the team
